Medaille Militare
[edit]The Article says he was awarded the Belgian Medaille Militare - but the article linked to is a French decoration. I can find no trace of a Belgian Medaille Militare on Wikipedia. Can anyone clarify this please? DuncanHill (talk) 11:05, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Looking at Who's Who again, I may have misread it:
- holds RA gold medal for Prize Essay, 1903; granted Insignia of Grand Officier de l’Ordre de la Couronne (Belgian), 1916, and Medaille Militaire; DL and JP Warwickshire
- I think I parsed this as the Belgian MM, but it could equally refer to the French one - not noting the nationality simply because it's fairly obvious there's only the one. Shimgray | talk | 13:33, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, yes that makes sense. DuncanHill (talk) 13:43, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
